hey! this is Hua Xian:D
hahas:D
due to the courtesy of meiqi, i've decided to blog!!! sighs. so sorry, have been away for awhile! will be coming for band next thurs:D i know i knw. you guys were expecting me only from 23rd onwards right? hahas. but there were family matters i had to attend to so we rushed back on the 6th. then i had smth on the tues so i couldn't come. and next thing i know there is band break from wed to wed!!! sighs... hope i didn't miss out too much. i have to buck up on the songs. The Power of Dreams didn't seem too difficult. but the tempo might be super fast and Hymn. my sukiest playing in the whole wide world. hahas. kkaes thats all:D see you guys on thurs!!
p.s. i'm so FURIOUS that i missed the rgps exchange. How were my juniors Meiqi??? Zehui say she likes you and meri very much. and chloe ask me why Serene always so emo one and ANNE!! you are such a disappointment!!! they say you didn't talk much and is very quiet!!! aiyo. but they said that they enjoyed the exchange very much:D good job rachel!!!

SINGAPORE YOUTH FESTIVAL 2009 CONCERT BAND PRESENTATION
8 JULY 2009, Wednesday.
7.30pm @ Esplanade Concert Hall.
Duration: 2 hrs (20mins interval)
ticket price: $4
The Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) 2009 Concert Band Presentation will showcase five local school bands who had achieved excellent results at the SYF 2009 Central Judging of Concert Bands in April and May. The bands performing are from: Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Tanjong Katong Girls’ School, Xinmin Secondary School, Anderson Junior College and National Junior College. The concert will present a repertoire of familiar classics including Verdi’s La Forza Del Destino, Strauss II’s Die Fledemaus, Puccini’s Turandot, and Gillingham’s With Heart and Voice. There will also be a combined band presenting the SYF 2009 set pieces, Two Overtures for Wind Band, composed by Dr Kelly Tang.

Will be playing Summer Rhapsody, composed by local composer, Phoon Yew Tien, Violin Concerto by SNYO concert master, Davin Ang. Lastly, Brahms Symphony No.4.

haha, it took me ages to upload the pics but its worth it(:
here are only some featuring the classic unglam-ness(: n fun(:(:
ok lets start the story(:
the story starts in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(:(:
on a fine day rachel ho decided to show off her beauty...
sadly it attracted some crocodiles -.-
and it tried to eat meiqi 0.o
Apparently rachel got very very very very scared and started scream(: :O
FLUTES being a VERY brave section decided to chase the crocodile away by performing so weird superhero actions:
rachel used her super-vision
and serene tried being batman while anne just flaps away, hoping she can get away from all these insanes.
the rest attempted to be the spiderman(:
after a LOOOONG while, they decided to push the blame to meiqi, because she is the SL (muhaha)
but being kind-hearted we changed the criminal to rachel
and anne kindly volunteered to kill her(:(:
after much killing, everyone got so tired that they just went back to sleeping ZZzzzz
the end(:
